Are you looking for a radio station to listen to when you're driving, at home or at the computer lab doing your homework?

Tune into to the local KISS-FM radio station, 95.1 located in Charlotte, N.C. This radio station would suit the likes of anyone who would want to hear the latest popular tunes in the United States.

The latest play list of the station includes tunes by popular bands like Outkast, Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, Matchbox 20, Beyonce, Sean Paul, Sheryl Crow, Nelly, Baby Bash, Black Eyed Peas and more.

Radio personalities Marc St. John, JoJo, Ace and TJ, Keli Reynolds, Adam Smasher, Eric Tyler, Allen and Matt Johnson keep you company seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Separately each one of the personalities brings in a different perspective and background to the air. This makes the station one of the most popular radio stations in Charlotte. Here are profiles of some of those personalities working for KISS-FM.

One of the most successful personalities includes Ace and TJ, stars of the radio station morning show. The Ace and TJ Show started in Charlotte five years ago and since then has reached listeners all over the Southeast including Birmingham, Ala., Augusta, Ga, and Bristol, Texas. Their morning show runs from 6 -- 10 a.m.

Ace hails from Pineville, La. On the show, Ace refers a lot to his life with wife, Shonnette, daughter Payton, and son Cade. He graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism from Louisiana State University in 1991.

TJ is also from the state of Louisiana. Winnfield is his hometown. TJ now has a home in Mecklenburg county with his family including wife Jodi and children Lanie and Aiden. He attended Louisiana Tech. University.

Other personalities that share the air during the morning show include Yankee Pete, the executive producer. Yankee Pete started his radio career when he was 16 in Sterling, Ill. He moved up with Ace and TJ in 1994 to work for the show.

Angie is the only female personality in the mornings. She offers a reality check for the group of guys. Angie has only been with the show for a few years starting first an intern from Ill.

The latest intern with the morning show is a native from Kansas City, Mo. Ryan also enjoys being the most ridiculed person on the show. He's constantly on a new mission or trip to perform a new stunt from the show. His antics always provide a good laugh as well.

After the morning show ends, listeners can continue to listen for the KISS--FM broadcast of the Kiss Retro lunch. During the lunch drive, Keli Reynolds, a Charlotte native, plays the songs that were chart toppers in the '80s. Reynolds hosts the lunch break show from 10 a.m. -- 3 p.m.

For the afternoon drive, tune in to listen to Adam Smasher's Radio Broadcast Extravaganza. Smasher is on the airwaves from 3 -- 7 p.m. Listeners can get traffic updates throughout the broadcast. During the broadcast, several celebrities join the host for fabulous giveaways in the "Smasher's Secret Celebrity" competition. Smasher is from Pasadena, Calif.

Eric Tyler takes over the airwaves from 7 p.m. -- midnight. Tyler is from Rockford, Ill. Tyler just recently began his reign of the nighttime waves. He picked up the tradition "High 5 at 9" countdown when listeners can call in to vote for their song picks of the day. Then they can call in to make song requests during the dedication hour at 10 p.m.

During the weekends, the radio station follows a different schedule. Marc St. John, JoJo, Matt Johnson and DJ Niz take their fair share of airtime.

KISS--FM also hosts some exciting opportunities as well. Always looking to give listeners something to do, KISS-FM broadcasts from several clubs downtown Charlotte including Have a Nice Day Café and Bar Charlotte.

KISS-FM is not only broadcasts the most popular songs, they also offer job opportunities for students. The radio station accepts resumes for student internships. If you are a current full-time college student looking to gain college credit, or if your idea of work is attending clubs, concerts and other events across the Charlotte area, KISS-FM is a place that you check out.

The radio station gives you a chance to learn the inner workings of a large market radio station, providing exposure to promotions, programming and sales. KISS-FM interns work promotions 15-25 hours per week and must be available nights and weekends.
