Richard Marcano just wanted to graduate. The senior was looking at different graduate schools and planning his future after May, when he found out that he couldn't get a transcript. The reason? A lousy $8 charge on his account. Marcano found out that it was a fee that Brocker Health Center had charged, which he found strange seeing as he hadn't been to the building for treatment since 2006.
Guilty of murder. That was the verdict reached in the trial of a former UNC Charlotte student last week. The jury came back on Wednesday, March 12, with a decision in the case of 38-yr-old Robert Windsor, who was found guilty of killing his ex-girlfriend Stephany Jo White, back in August of 2005.
