Anyone else wonder why she was called "Director" and not Chief? We played name games to avoid having to admit we did an abysmal job checking this woman's credentials. She was not qualified for the Chief position she applied for and we just renamed the position Director so we could change the qualifications. Hire a real Chief next time.
This is understandable that money makes people autonomous. But what to do if someone has no cash? The one way only is to receive the loans and just bank loan.
I mean I don't see the big deal and I really don't see the need for the name change. I feel if people who go to school here correctly speak about our school as UNC-Charlotte then it will get recognized as such. Do you know how many other schools/states have a host school and other sister schools? They don't seem to have a problem distinguishing the others! We need to get more involved in the Charlotte community and demand that stores around the area sell our stuff!! We also need to start repping our school as a whole. As a senior who is graduating I feel as though people here at this school don't view it is as such, but just their "other choice". Why don't you start telling your friends to stop wearing NC State school and UNC school sweartshirts and what not. Maybe that will tell the state, the city and the school that we have staying power and that we love our school. Hopefully with all the new things like our number of students, football, and the fact that we are growing will help people understand that we are here to stay, and that we are NOT UNC-Chapel Hill but better!!
