Ritazzas in both Fretwell and the library will be closing on Friday, July 30. They will be closed through Wednesday Aug. 4, when they will reopen as Fretwell Cafe and Library Cafe.

Lou Ann Lamb with Auxiliary Services said, “Ritazza is a brand name that’s very big in Europe, but the Ritazza brand has stopped licensing in the US so can’t use it anymore.”
Fretwell Cafe and Library Cafe will serve Peet’s Coffees and Teas which are currently available on campus in the Student Union Outtakes.

In the meantime, students will be able to get brewed coffee, breakfast sandwiches, muffins and bagels at Main Street Market beginning at 8AM. However, once Fretwell Cafe and Library Cafe open, Main Street Market will resume opening at 10:30 for lunch.
