UNC Charlotte's new website will launch Aug. 10

UNC Charlotte’s new website is set to go live on Aug. 10. The project, which has been years in the making, will have a soft launch on Aug. 3 followed by going live on Aug. 10.

The new homepage features the Stake Your Claim campaign. A current snapshot shows professors Al Maisto and Cindy Combs in the left sidebar with a 49er pic-ax along with a Stake Your Claim video in the center of the page.

All navigation has been moved to the upper right corner of the page. The Web Redesign at UNC Charlotte website states, “Our new home page features an ‘audience-centric’ navigation that focuses on topical areas of interest, such as admissions, academics, campus life, athletics, and more” In the right sidebar, users will find current news and events.

To find out more about UNC Charlotte’s new website be sure to check out the Welcome Back issue of The University Times and the first edition of Niner News for Fall 2010. Both will be available on NinerOnline the first week of classes.
